I am NOT a purple fan, but I am a Lizzy House fan. Her purple fabrics are always such a great bold shade of eggplant that I love so much. The color is so rich and the design so awesome. These are probably two of my favorite girl quilts I've made ever. I tend to like boy quilts more since I am a blue color kind of gal. But these bright pops of color really make me happy too...
This little quilt is a stroller/play mat size quilt.
And this quilt is a larger crib quilt.
This quilt was a lot of fun to put together, as it sort of unfolded as I worked on it, not having a clear plan when I started, but I'm so happy with how it turned out.
Both quilts are for sale in my shop.

Purple has grown on me, with a Violet in the house! These are bold and lovely. I love the patterned edging-especially the polka dotted one. Striking!
